The Rain has finally arrived, and we are very happy 
Our crops were needing a good rain, and our water supply was running low. Hopefully we got enough to get things back on track.

19th Avenue Farmers Market now has the following Ontario produce available to you: Peaches, Yellow Plums, Cantaloupes, Cabbage, Zucchini, Vegetable Marrow, Artichokes, Pickling Cucumbers, and Peaches & Cream Super Sweet Corn!! Come out this weekend and stock up your fridges with great tasting Ontario freshness!
Moved to large Market!!
Great News! We moved into our large market this week, this means the season is upon us and we need the space for all the great produce we are picking. We have broccoli, garlic, strawberries, cherries, and a wide variety of other great fresh fruits, produce and baked goods for you to enjoy!
Broccoli NOW ready!
Ontario broccoli is now available at the market; first of the season being picked daily! Nothing like fresh broccoli that tastes right!

Looks like our Broccoli will be ready next week, be sure to stop by the market to pick some up.
Did you know…Broccoli is an excellent source of Vitamin C and folacin, and a source of fibre, Vitamin A and potassium.

Just Picked Strawberries!
Look at the berries I just picked….the weekend weather should be great for picking, come on out and pick some fresh berries.

Sweet Peas are READY!
We started picking sweet peas this week and are available at the market. It’s exciting to start picking this years crops!
Did you know …. you can freeze your own sweet peas to enjoy all winter long! Just remove the peas from the pod, wash, let dry and fill mini bags, and freeze! A little bit of summer to enjoy in the winter!
U-Pick now at the Market!
Great News! Our U-Pick Strawberry fields will be opening for the first time this season on Saturday June 18th! It should be a great weekend for strawberry picking! We also have Ready Pick available at the market.
